I CAN BE / BRING / BUY / EAT / EXTEND / GO / GROW / HAVE / LEARN / MAKE / NURTURE / PICK / PLANT / PUT / RAISE / REPLACE / RIDE / SHARE / SHOP / SING / SPEND / START / THINK / TRY / WORK

 

I CAN and will do my part to change the way I consume...

I CAN be more conscious of buying food in bulk from the coop (i.e. using my own containers: mostly glass).

I CAN bring my lunch to work with me everyday. (in a re-usable container)

I CAN buy less soda and more local beer.
I CAN buy local beer, and organic food.
I CAN buy locally grown food.
I CAN buy more local produce. Eat more home cooking. Spread the work.
I CAN buy more locally grown produce -- like at a farmers' market.

I CAN eat for nourishment and not for fun.
I CAN eat less!
I CAN eat less processed foods, including cheese, one of my favorite foods, which I eat way too much of.
I CAN eat more socially.
I CAN eat more veggies. Only buy what I know I'll eat. Stop wasting! Eat organic!
I CAN eat more with the seasons. It's so enjoyable! And put up more food for the winter.
I CAN eat out less. Cook more plants.
I CAN eat seasonally. It makes life more exciting.
I CAN eat two meals a day and only drink water.

I CAN extend my growing season with high tunnels and hoophouses to provide produce for a longer period.

I CAN go to the farmers' market more often and eat more local produce.

I CAN grow and buy local organic foods for my family!
I CAN grow my own food! (even if I live in an apartment)
I CAN grow my own veggies.
I CAN grow things that look good and feed me.

I CAN have an awesome garden and rely less on the grocery store!

I CAN learn how to can foods in season to be eaten all winter.
I CAN learn how to garden from my parents and grow my own food one day.
I CAN learn to can. Grow more foods. Eat less factory farm meat.

I CAN make an effort to feed my child local, fresh food.
I CAN make my own bread.

I CAN. ('nuff said.) :)

I CAN nurture the land as I nurture myself, as we nurture ourselves! Grow food everywhere!

I CAN pick produce, freeze it, and use it in the off-season.

I CAN plant a garden and share the bounty with my neighbors.
I CAN plant and grow my own herbs in a window box.
I CAN plant more gardens. Encourage others to plant gardens. Share the food grown in my garden with many people.

I CAN put my 1000s of mason jars to use!

I CAN raise my own chickens (if I can convince my fiance).

I CAN replace my sugar in my tea and coffee with local honey. (1 tablespoon of honey = 5 tablespoons of white refined sugar)
I CAN replace two items on my grocery list each week with organic items.

I CAN ride my bike and cook and buy food from the co-op and plant my damn garden already!

I CAN share a farm CSA with a friend.
I CAN share my herb garden, and eliminate factory-farmed eggs from my diet.

I CAN shop at a local farmers' market and host a local food potluck.
I CAN shop at the farmers' market and eat what's in season.

I CAN sing I can dance and buy food in bulk and pay more and eat less.

I CAN spend a year interning on a farm to learn how to use natural pest defenses and all other tidbits that can be absorbed.

I CAN start a garden and buy local foods.

I CAN think differently.

I CAN try to buy more food at my coop! I love the exhibit!

I CAN work towards changing codes, to get chickens legalized in the city, so we can all have fresh/super local eggs!
